Sweetener

In this recipe, I do not use any sugar. I use very little honey instead. You may want to substitute honey with erythritol, if you are on ketogenic diet, but the mangoes are already very sweet.

Greek Yoghurt

Greek yoghurt will add creaminess to the ice cream. You can skip this if you don’t like your ice cream to be creamy.

Substitute with plain yoghurt with less creamy texture.

Heavy Cream

This is one important ingredient you must have to make homemade ice cream without ice cream machine.

Since there is no egg in this recipe, the creamy texture is from Greek yoghurt. This is the base of the ice cream.

If you can’t eat dairy, you can substitute it with coconut milk.

Sweetened Condensed Milk

You can make your own condensed milk. This helps add milky flavor to the ice cream.

I have a recipe for sweetened condensed milk, you can check this link.

Lemon Juice

Lemon juice will add freshness and tangy feeling in the mango ice cream. Just add a little.
