Gluten Free Chocolate Pudding with Milk Sauce
Gluten free chocolate pudding is a simple and easy thing to make at home. It tastes wonderful for pudding lovers and especially for chocolate lovers! Drizzle with milk sauce to add its flavor to the next level.
Almost everybody loves chocolate! I know you can buy store-bought chocolate pudding anywhere and it’s pretty nice in terms of flavor and quality.
But I prefer to make my own version of chocolate pudding at home. It is super easy and quick to make. It tastes wonderful with the right selection of chocolate and cocoa powder.
I know many chocolate pudding recipes will use cornstarch to thicken it. I have tried cornstarch only chocolate pudding and a combination of cornstarch and egg yolk. I ended up with the second one. The dessert chocolate pudding turns out more silky, thick, and rich.
To add more richness, I use the best cocoa powder and the best dark chocolate I know. I used very little sugar to let the chocolate flavor dominate the whole pudding.
If you are the type that wants some milky sauce to the chocolate pudding, I include the milk sauce recipe. It is also very easy and quick to make.
Gluten Free Chocolate Pudding
If you are allergic to gluten, this can be your best choice for dessert. There is no gluten involved.
The milky sauce has some cornstarch to thicken it. Omit the cornstarch if you have to.
Be careful of the sugar amount in the pudding. I have reduced the sugar to the minimum and I used the homemade condensed milk. But there is sugar content in the dark chocolate.
Substitute the sugar with your preference of sweetener.
